Workshops

Many of us learn best by doing. That is why we have created workshops with hands-on opportunities to learn, create and reflect.

Our workshops typically last between 1 to 3 hours and are based on different waste themes such as plastic, food or fabric waste.

Guided by seasoned instructors, we share simple tips that you can apply to build and sustain habits.

"Green Nudge's Ecobricks Workshop is a repurposed craft project I can get behind because I become conscious of how much plastic waste I am producing and what I have generated is used to create something useful to society."

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do the participants have to bring some items with them? Do you not provide them?

We encourage participants to bring along items such as fruit peels or used plastics as a way to treat some of these accumulated waste typically found at home. In addition, by using some of these items provided by participants, we demonstrate how simple household items can also be turned into meaningful products.

In your ecobricks catalogue, it states that the finished ecobricks go towards a social cause. May we check what organisations they go to?

We work with community organisations and schools to pass completed ecobricks stools and tables. While some organisations prefer to keep their completed items within their premises, others are open to passing these items along once they are completed. The final organisations depend on the availability of the stools or items made after each session.

If my organisation does not meet the minimum requirement of 20 pax, can we still engage you?

Yes! We have in the past been able to work with groups of less than 20 pax subject to their programme and budget.

2019 Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon

Our largest event yet, with a whopping 51,000 participants – small wonder that we ended up with 23 bins of plastic bottles and cans, salvaged 1,300 over towels and a haul of 525.5kg of banana peels at the end of the event! Our army of volunteers worked tirelessly both day and night encouraging the participants to keep the running routes clean and to remind them to dispose of their trash in the proper bins.
